The Almanac's Take
Weather is essentially a non-factor across most of this slate — half the games are indoors or under closed roofs, and the outdoor venues are running mild with light winds. The one game worth watching is BAL-BUF at New Era Field: 58 degrees, 8 mph wind, and a 50.5 total that's the highest on the board — that's a lot of points to ask for in upstate New York in September, even if the conditions aren't severe. DAL-PHI at 75 degrees and 11 mph is the windiest outdoor game but still plenty playable, with a 47.5 total reflecting that. PIT-NYJ carries a 37.5 total that has nothing to do with weather — just two offenses the market doesn't trust.
