Yamamoto is the cleanest arm on a thin five-game slate — 6.6 projected Ks over 6.2 innings against the Yankees with a favorable matchup and a 2.85 season ERA anchoring the confidence. Burke draws a nearly identical projection (6.2 K, 6.2 IP, 1.7 projected ER) against Toronto and actually carries the lower run-prevention number of the two.
