The Almanac's Take

Two games on the board and both lineups are confirmed. The most interesting number is Yandy Díaz leading off for Tampa Bay with a .912 OPS and 12 home runs — that kind of production at the top of the order is rare, and it sets up Junior Caminero (.862 OPS, 16 HR) hitting third behind him. Kansas City counters with Jac Caglianone at three (.820 OPS, 13 HR), though Tyler Tolbert batting ninth with a .849 OPS is a strange fit for the back of a lineup. Seattle's home side is missing, so that game is half a read until the other card posts.
